The Abdul Mageed Story
In Memory Of Abdul Mageed
A Life of Generosity and Giving
Abdul Mageed Ahmed Abdul Mageed was born in Leamington, Warwickshire on November 18, 1975. He spent his early years in Sudan before returning to the UK to study and work. Unfortunately, his life was cut short on June 21, 2013, when he passed away in a tragic accident at Bruce Grove Station in Tottenham, London.
Abdul Mageed was known for his kind, caring, and generous nature. He often gave and donated in secret, never boasting about his contributions. He was a giving soul who left an impact on everyone he met. His untimely death was a shock to his family, especially his mother, Rajaa Sadig.
In honour of her son's memory, Rajaa has continued his legacy of kindness and generosity. She has sponsored various charitable projects, including digging wells in Khartoum's primary schools to provide pupils with clean water. She also supported a young family to help them provide for their three children's education.
In 2017, Rajaa established the Abdul Mageed Educational Trust to provide clean water and educational support to African pupils and students. She aims to help children struggling due to wars, famine, poverty, and other challenges.
Abdul Mageed's legacy of generosity and giving lives on through his mother's efforts. His family and friends continue to honour his memory and celebrate his life through acts of compassion and kindness.
