Abdul Mageed Educational Trust
AMET works with funders, community organisations, health contributors and local institutions where collaboration helps residents access appropriate information, specialist expertise or opportunities for participation. We distinguish between a funder, a delivery collaborator, a specialist guest, a referral contact and an organisation involved in a shared consultation.
Westminster City Council has supported sustained café provision. The National Lottery Community Fund has supported AMET programmes including Peer Support Cafés. Imperial College London’s Patient Experience Research Centre identified speakers for health-awareness sessions and has published reports relating to those activities.
AMET was named among the participating organisations in an October 2026 neighbourhood-health community engagement programme organised through One Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea Social Council. This was a collective engagement programme rather than an AMET-only project.
When developing funded activity, we seek clarity about the contribution of each organisation, responsibilities for participants, safeguarding, monitoring and reporting, and how people will be connected to appropriate follow-up services.
