Join us for an important “Child Safeguarding Act” session with Dr Islah Abdelsalam, a child and family psychology consultant. This event, organised by the Abdul Mageed Educational Trust in collaboration with the City of Westminster Healthy Communities Fund, is part of the Vibrant and Healthy Community Hub/Peer Support Café series. The session will be held at Grosvenor Hall on Vincent Street in Pimlico, London.
Dr. Abdelsalam will provide an overview of the Child Safeguarding Act, discussing its implications for parents, caregivers, and professionals working with children. The session will cover key aspects of the legislation, including the responsibilities it places on adults to protect children from harm, how to recognize signs of abuse and the procedures for reporting concerns.
