Traditional and herbal medicines

Join us for an enlightening session on “Traditional and Herbal Medicines” with Dr. Sulafa Sadig Ahmed, a visiting researcher at the Royal Veterinary College. The Abdul Mageed Educational Trust, in collaboration with the City of Westminster Healthy Communities Fund, is organizing this event as part of the Vibrant and Healthy Community Hub/Peer Support Café series. The session will occur at Grosvenor Hall on Vincent Street in Pimlico, London.

Dr. Ahmed will explore the benefits and applications of traditional and herbal medicines, discussing their role in modern healthcare and their historical significance. Attendees will gain insights into the safe use of herbal remedies, common misconceptions, and the scientific research supporting their efficacy. This session aims to provide a balanced understanding of how traditional medicine can complement contemporary medical practices.
