This is a safe space where refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants can come together to share their stories, reflect on their journey, and help shape future support services. Led in partnership with WHEAT Mentor Support Trust and Imperial College London, this session invites participants to openly discuss their experiences of settling in the UK—what helped, what made it harder, and how services can improve for others in the future. Who can join:Refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants aged 18+ who have lived in the UK for at least 12 months. No special skills needed—just a willingness to share. Resident Community Resilience Co-Design Workshop #1

Join us for a hands-on community co-design workshop focused on creating clear, inclusive, and accessible community resilience information that residents can use to stay safe and resilient in the face of emergencies. 🎤 Speaker: Michel Nunez LopezCommunity Resilience Officer – Resilience Team, Westminster Council Why Attend? Launch of Peer Support Café – African & Caribbean Community Gathering

The Peer Support Café officially launches with a community gathering focused on food, connection, and cultural exchange. This first session will introduce participants to the initiative, providing a welcoming environment where they can enjoy a hot meal, informal cookery demonstrations, and social support. Guest Chef: A local chef will prepare a traditional African or Caribbean dish, and a nutritionist will offer insights on maintaining a balanced diet on a budget. Guest Speaker: A community advocate will discuss the importance of food and cultural identity in well-being.
