Join us for an enlightening session on “Living with Dementia” with David Truswell, Trustee for the BAME Health Forum and Director of the Dementia Alliance. Organized by the Abdul Mageed Educational Trust in collaboration with the City of Westminster Healthy Communities Fund, this event is part of the Vibrant and Healthy Community Hub/Peer Support Café series. It will occur at Grosvenor Hall on Vincent Street in Pimlico, London.
David Truswell will share his expertise on the challenges and realities of living with dementia, particularly within BAME communities. The session will cover the importance of culturally sensitive care, strategies for managing daily life, and support resources. Attendees will gain valuable insights into improving the quality of life for those affected by dementia.
Grosvenor Hall is easily accessible from Pimlico, Victoria, and Vauxhall tube stations and is serviced by buses 2, 36, 88, 185, and C10, with the nearest stop at Page Street. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for all participants.
