Join us for an engaging "Self Care and Health" session with Dr. Tanya Dennis, organised by the Abdul Mageed Educational Trust in collaboration with the City of Westminster Healthy Communities Fund. This event is part of the Vibrant and Healthy Community Hub/Peer Support Café series and will be held at Grosvenor Hall on Vincent Street in Pimlico, London. Led by Dr. Islah Abdelsalam, a consultant in family and child psychology, the workshop will provide valuable insights into the characteristics, challenges, and support systems for children with autism. The session will explore early diagnosis, intervention strategies, and the role of family and community in supporting children with neurodevelopmental conditions. Peer Support Café: Following the workshop, attendees are invited to join the Peer Support Café—a drop-in space for community talks, activities, and support. The café provides a safe and welcoming environment for discussions around neurodevelopmental disorders, parenting, and shared experiences. This workshop is perfect for parents, caregivers, educators, and anyone looking to better understand autism and how to support children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
